Managing your Engage account

Last Updated: Mar 04, 2016 11:29AM PST
If you do not have an Engage account, you can create one by visiting

To manage your Engage account, log into the Engage website, click your name at the top right of the page, and select SETTINGS. This will bring up the Edit Profile page, which is divided into three sections.

In this section, you can change your Engage user ID and password, and you can also edit your personal information and location. Your gender, birthday, height, and weight are used to calculate activity metrics.

Here, you can change your account preferences, including your privacy and notification settings.

Note: You can use the Activity Viewer to set different privacy settings for individual activities. The Activity Privacy setting on the Edit Profile page applies only to activities whose privacy settings have not been set individually.

From this section, you can link your Engage profile to third-party fitness tracking services and social media networks.

Linking your Engage account to Strava, TrainingPeaks, or MapMyFitness allows your activity data to be uploaded to those services automatically.

Linking your Engage account to Facebook and Twitter allows you to share activities to those services.

When your Engage account is linked to Facebook and/or Instagram, photos posted from your smartphone to those services during your activity will automatically be posted to Engage.

Note: For further assistance, and to delete or merge Engage accounts, please e-mail us.
