Recon’s online store provides customers with the ability to purchase products directly from Recon. Customers can either create and use an online store account to make purchases or purchase as a “guest checkout”. The use of an account simplifies the purchasing process and permits order tracking.
Recon’s online store requires users to provide their personal information (including name, shipping address, contact information and payment information) in order to create an account and make a purchase.
Personal information collected through the online store is used by Recon and its service providers to manage accounts and process orders and related transactions. Recon does not disclose the personal information with third parties, except for disclosures required to operate the store, process orders and transactions through the online store and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
If you create an online store account, then you will be able to login and modify your account and profile details, including your contact and financial information.
If you register to receive promotional emails from Recon, then you can unsubscribe from the promotional emails at any time by logging in to your online store account and changing your “Email Preferences” from the “Settings” menu on your account. Recon’s promotional emails will also contain an unsubscribe mechanism that you can use to unsubscribe from future promotional emails.
Recon uses industry standard technologies (including the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol and data encryption) to protect data communications with Recon’s online store.
Recon keeps information regarding online store transactions only for as long as the information is reasonably required for legitimate business purposes and for legal compliance purposes. Recon then either securely deletes information or removes all personally identifiable information to anonymize the information.
