How to unpair / pair MOD HUD remote

Last Updated: Jun 11, 2014 11:30AM PDT

Your remote comes paired with your MOD but if you perform a factory reset or happen to lose your remote and purchase a new one, you will be required to re-pair your remote.

First, check that your remote is unpaired from your MOD by pressing any remote button – an amber light will blink on the remote if it is unpaired.

If it's not unpaired, simply press and hold the Left and Right button on your remote so the amber light is blinking.  Then, follow these steps:

Note the ID number on the back of the remote printed on a white label.
1. Power off your MOD and power it on again.
2. Press any button on the remote. Check the MOD for a prompt to select one or more remote ID numbers.

NOTE: If you don't see the pop up for your remote ID, turn your MOD off and on again

3. Use the MOD power button to scroll to the ID number that corresponds to your remote. A countdown will begin - wait for the counter to reach 0 on your MOD display.
4. Now check if the remote is paired by looking at the status bar of your MOD - the remote connection indicator icon will turn blue (this can take up to 10 seconds)
