How to unpair / pair your MOD Live HUD remote

Last Updated: Jan 12, 2015 04:29PM PST
Your remote comes paired with your MOD Live but if you perform a factory reset, lose your remote, or simply lose connection to your MOD Live HUD, you will be required to re-pair your remote.

To make sure that your remote is unpaired and ready to be connected to your MOD Live HUD, press and hold the Left and Right button on your remote so the amber light is blinking.  Then, follow the next steps:

Re-pair your remote

Note the ID number on the back of the remote printed on a white label.
  1. Power off your MOD Live and power it on again.
  2. Press any button on the remote. Check the MOD Live for a prompt to select one or more remote ID numbers.
  3. Use the MOD Live power button to scroll to the ID number that corresponds to your remote. A countdown will begin - wait for the counter to reach 0 on your MOD Live display.
  4. Now check if the remote is paired by looking at the status bar of your MOD Live - the remote connection indicator icon will turn blue (this can take up to 10 seconds)
